
Elizabeth Baumann, M.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, was honored as a nominee for the 2003 Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Humanism in Medicine Award. The nomination, which originates with the Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) chapter of Pfizer Medical School, recognizes Dr. Baumann as the embodiment of “the finest qualities in a teacher of healing” and an exemplar of “humanism in medicine.”
