UCH leadership has completed the initial roll out of key practices and processes which are linked to service and operational excellence. Preliminary results are positive. For instance, recent patient satisfaction results on a key measure "Likelihood to Recommend" have shown marked improvement.

Seven physicians from several specialties are working with representatives from the Hospitals to design a survey which will measure physician satisfaction with hospital services and operations.

The targeted date for distribution of the survey is April 29. Separately, an employee survey scheduled for mid-April will provide quantitative measures of UCH staff satisfaction.

To insure that physcian perspeectives about the Achieving Breakthroughs effort are actively solicited and implemented, a Physician Advisory group is being formed. Physicians who are interested in participating should contact Kimberly Carli: Kimberly.Carli@uchospitals.edu or 773-834-4761.
