Feature story
The Division of the Biological Sciences is proud to announce the that the Board of Trustees has approved the design of the Center for Biomedical Discovery. The CBD (pictured in architectural renderings) will be located at the northeast corner of 57th and Drexel Avenue and will connect via bridges to both the Biological Sciences Learning Center and the newly-constructed Center for Integrative Science. The CBD will house research programs from the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics, the University of Chicago Cancer Research Center, the Institute for Molecular Pediatric Science and the Ludwig Center for Metastasis Research. Groundbreaking for the CBD will take place this October, and the building is scheduled for completion in early 2008. Feature story Feature story
