
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Center for Biomedical Discovery (CBD) took place on October 17, 2005, marking an exciting point in the timeline for construction of this new facililty. The CBD will house research programs from the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics, the University of Chicago Cancer Research Center, the Institute for Molecular Pediatric Science and the Ludwig Center for Metastasis R
esearch.
