The Division of Biological Sciences is pleased to announce a new service, PerseusSurveySolutions. Perseus SurveySolutions is a Web-based application that allows individuals to create, deploy, and analyze web surveys. Perseus SurveySolutions streamlines the survey process from questionnaire design through results presentation by:

• Providing non-technical users the ability to apply advanced research techniques (branching, piping, multi-level matrix questions,
  randomizations, contingent choices) without having to write scripts or programs,


• Enabling members of a workgroup to easily collaborate on drafting questionnaires and analyzing results,


• Allowing surveys to be deployed through the Web, e-mail, telephone, and paper,


• Maximizing the lifetime value of panelists by managing the number of survey invitations being sent to specific audiences,


• Dynamically collecting and saving responses to major SQL databases (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server),


• Monitoring responses and reporting data in real time via Web browser,


• Enabling permission-based access to reports and analysis based on role/department security setting, and


• Providing Microsoft Office compatibility for saving data locally to an Access database, Excel file, or exporting the results to a PowerPoint presentation, SPSS, or a variety of other statistical analysis applications.
