ACCOLADES

Medical Education Research Grants awarded
The Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators, the Graduate Medical Education Executive Committee and the University of Chicago Medical Center have selected several recipients for the 2007 Medical Education Research Grants.

These grants are part of an ongoing series of initiatives to foster research, innovation and scholarship in medical education and to promote and sustain a strong culture of teaching in the Biological Sciences Division. Principal investigators (PI) received matching funds from their home departments for a total of $25,000 for up to two years of funding. In addition to the proposals outlined below, all of the 2006 grantees also received funding for a second year. The recipients are:
